Horological Meandering

Moderate warming will likely cause extreme weather problems.

Moderate warming upsets the balance.  Imagine a rubber band that's a little loose.  Some slight impacts to it, and it will vibrate slightly.  But if the band is tense, it will vibrate more.  Thus, the warmer things get, it's highly possible we will have more extremes as the delicate balance that supports life on this planet is disturbed.  A little change in temperatures can make our wind increase from various convection currents.  Which can create more storms.  Etc.  So a gradual warming of the planet could mean more than a gradual warming of the planet.
