partly from my limited bad experience with the octal reserve, but more so becoz I realize that it will just be a white elephant. I like chronos, becoz I find them to be the most interactive AFFORDABLE complication. the other being repeaters which are expensive. But I actually use my chronos, mainly for parking meters. So the centigraph will have no real world usage for me.
Lastly, I have heard several reliability issues with the centigraph, and my mind just went into self preservation mode and became conservative, thus overriding the impulse to buy, thus tempering and mellowing out.
I still look at it, but I can wait.

Now, I do understand you usage of chronos for parking, as cars there are so expensive that being towed away would be really frustrating.... lol Cheers
Played with one for an hour in a boutique
a beautiful dial and fun to see the hands race. I was turned off by the maximum epoch it can time being just 10 min, although I would be the first to admit that Chronos aren't very practical that is too short even for my modest needs. Best
