I was just trying to meet blau's criteria:
"smallish, lightish but robust, and on a bracelet" with "a bit more pizzazz" than the Explorer... And he said he'd be willing to go "significantly cheaper", so the BB36 seems to fill in for me...
But if your question means "do I put the BB36 on the same level as the Explorer?", my answer is no. But, tbh, I prefer to buy a BB36 than an Explorer and keep the extra money for a watch which truly makes me dream (=a gold high end dress watch). I'm simply not enough into steel sports watches (just my preference, of course).
