I really like that thought a lot ! respect !!! Journe is nice but I would go for their more classic watches, the sportswatch is not my cup of tea The tourbillon they make is imo the most beatifull tourbillon on the market.

.. Especially when we are talking about status symbols.. To me IMHO anything that is more expensive than it is necessary is a status symbol. The watch I find most understated is my rolex dd2 platinum... Ppl who are chasing the status symbol don’t give rol...

I would also never sell a watch, because it is.. I can understand and accept your decision because of horological and financial aspect: the Journe has much more horological content and you win a lot of money selling the Nautilus, you will get a better wat...

Yes, to my mind, I now see a lot of Nautilus around. Once, it was a watch I rarely saw in public. In London, recently, I saw two in Selfridges and then another in another department store. It is beginning to have a similar cache to it as Burberry.

But seriously it s bit frustrating that a couple of designs became the mainstream but whom to blame , too much moneney floats around,i remember when i got to the warch game the 5513 was the ultimate grail (since noone paid ,4grand for a 5512;-) ) , and to...

And the Freak, I have no words, just a great piece. I don't know however if I support the view of ditching the popular pieces. I totally understand what you are saying, Nautilus, RO and every sports Rolex are (in certain circles) very common. This is true...

Since most watch forums are all about Daytona, Royal Oak and Nautilus, collectors like you acting more and more in the shadows but if you can spot one, it gives such fresh air!

Great watch collecting philosophy you have there. All three are great choices.

Bought it a few months back and it has now become my daily watch. Apart from the looks and movement, it is just so light and the titanium very resistant to scratch. Still looks like new even after months of daily wear. Perfect for an active person like me...
