I like bracelets a lot.
I’ll even go with an aftermarket on certain models like this Heuer Carrera. I like it better on this aftermarket bracelet than on the OEM strap. 
My collection is about half bracelets and half strap, but I can see myself passing on a watch because I didn’t like the bracelet 😁.

For me it factors in only if they are unchangeable/integrated. I've purchased watches with bracelets and swapped them out to a strap, and visa versa.

It's timepiece dependent. And some look great in multiples of straps / bracelets.

For me, it depends on the watch, but, I am more a bracelet guy, but, do love a good nato/watch combo…I wish I could get with straps other than nato…on a Panerai, yes, no problem here, but, I have tried on Speedmasters and subs and don’t prefer that combo....
