Hello dear KM!! Omega offers two "serious" diving watches small enough for a kid:...

... in the line of the so called Seamaster Professional (Bond watch).
They come with a co axial movement in 36,25 mm case and with a quartz movement in 28 mm case. Two versions each: black dial and bezel or blue dial and bezel, both with steel bracelet.
They are not cheap but real dive watches.
A kid will put his watch in some rough situations I feel, playing, biking or skating, so to invest in an expensive first watch is something to think about.
Our friends and colleagues here have given some interesting options at a lower cost which you may consider.
I have bought the 36,25 black dial co axial model to my wife. She doesn´t like the bigger models, and she loves it. It´s a superb watch... and it is an Omega!
All the best, Abel.
