IMHO the only Ambassador that add value to a brand is Snoopy
Fully agreed on Patek, though this is quite common for the top brands in several areas (Patek for horology, Ferrari for automotive, Hermes for accessories/lifestyle, etc.)...
The point is simple: you choose to reward yourself with something at the very top because of YOUR success....not because someone else is more successful and you want to look like them! Honestly, if I wanted a watch because I saw it on a singer, a Hollywoo...

It would really be better invested in R&D… But don’t worry. They get the marketing money back through their pricing policy. In the end, we pay for everything anyway. 😉

And unfortunately this is not a democratic decision-making process. Because if the company asked me if I would like to have Ambassadors and higher prices or no Ambassadors with lower prices, oh dear, that would be a really difficult decision… 😎
