But it really can feel like real relationships. I've found that once the appeal is gone, or you tend to notice its flaws more often, the piece goes on sale. I've got a bad habit of getting worked up about a small detail I dislike about the watch, and then in almost a split second, decide to sell it since I can't bear thinking about the particularity. It's happened many times in the past, and with a couple of pieces, I later regretted the decision and found exact substitutes for them.
