Concerning the IWC
I really like it and tried it a few times, a friend of me bought one. It’s a very nice watch but tbh I think it’s too expensive for what you get. Which would probably make me look at the secondhand market cause in 2005 or around that time they also made a nice variation and these are rather cheap
Concerning the GP
Always loved the laureato but never pulled the trigger. But still very high on my wish list
Concerning the Blancpain FF
Loved it since day one (2007 I believe ) but I should have bought it then. Thing is … I would only want the 45 mm cause I tried the smaller one day and it did feel out of proportion. The 45 is the most correct of you ask me … and is does wear quite a bit smaller than 45.
It’s like panerai, you buy the luminor 44 or 47 but not the Due.
On the other hand ….. I’m not used to big watches anymore… had these 10-15 years ago but not longer today

The Ingenieur.
Influenced by the fact that I’m missing this one for my Gerald Genta trio. I’ve had the AP15202 Blue Dial, The PP5711 White Dial for a while now. I’ve never seen a reissue Ingenieur that I liked until last year - so I have a black dial incoming.
This is not easy, so well positioned in terms of the three to choose from.
The most coherent design (case, bracelet) among the three are the GP and IWC. Integrated bracelet wins over here. The GP seems the more pleasing of the two in terms of the bracelet integration to the case. However I’m more drawn to the bezel of the IWC. I...
The BP FF has the best look and movement but is unwearable to me at 45mm.
Too bad... So I guess I'd choose the GP.
Very different
I understand that as a luxury item all 3 are cross shopped, in reality they are very different propositions. In particular as a diver aficionado there is only one choice here, the FF, the other two don't offer much more than a rolex DD.
