Influenced by the fact that I’m missing this one for my Gerald Genta trio. I’ve had the AP15202 Blue Dial, The PP5711 White Dial for a while now. I’ve never seen a reissue Ingenieur that I liked until last year - so I have a black dial incoming.

The Blancpain is simply too large

The most coherent design (case, bracelet) among the three are the GP and IWC. Integrated bracelet wins over here. The GP seems the more pleasing of the two in terms of the bracelet integration to the case. However I’m more drawn to the bezel of the IWC. I... 

Too bad... So I guess I'd choose the GP.

I understand that as a luxury item all 3 are cross shopped, in reality they are very different propositions. In particular as a diver aficionado there is only one choice here, the FF, the other two don't offer much more than a rolex DD.

Saw these three up close…for me not only would I choose the GP but it was perhaps the most noteworthy piece I saw all day.

Blancpain - Very large but best finishing IWC - I lke the design a lot but quite expensive for what it is GP - Nice watch, but underwhelming on the design side

50F that fits me (40.3mm ltd ed). Love GP, owned a few that left and should have one. Like IWC and have one. Love GG. 42mm-ok, smaller=better. Price is a consideration... put this all in a blender and my choice is... (drum roll)....seriously this is diffi... 

It’s not a knock against GP per se. It’s a great piece. Just not sure why it gave that vibe when i tried it on. It was a similar impression I had when I tried the previous white dial ingenieur 3239 with the sellita movement. Maybe my sensibilities are jus...

Concerning the IWC I really like it and tried it a few times, a friend of me bought one. It’s a very nice watch but tbh I think it’s too expensive for what you get. Which would probably make me look at the secondhand market cause in 2005 or around that ti...

Love the BP but my wrists are not equipped for 45mm. Plus GP is much more versatile, so if you are looking for a watch that you can daily in the office, dinners at restaurants or at friends houses, outside excursions, etc etc, the one that can handle it a...
