They had plenty of knowledge and discussions So the poor guy brought these watches along and while in discussion placed the bag next to him One guy went to toilet the other on made phone call the third remained with him to distract him Bag was gone

Where he met them to arrange GTG... forums, Instagram?

The reason I ask is so that we should all learn form this and hopefully prevent it happening within our community. Which forum did he arrange the GTG on ?

Robbed or stolen?

This clearly was an organized and planned out theft as well. Very sad.

As much as I sympathize with the loss of your friends beautiful timepieces, I am very glad that he was not physically attacked. More watches will be available to him.

The incident happened two or three days ago Plus there have been a huge number of robberies of watches in london and not a single reaction done It’s sad but true

Never heard anything from the Spanish police after they robbed my watch . Its so sad these things happen more and more nowadays. Its starting to takeaway the fun of wearing a nice watch .

I would have never expected to be safer to wear expensive watches in Bucharest than in London. But it really is.

I had a watch stolen from my house in NJ. The police came and did a report and had absolutely no interest in helping me. Very disappointing

I got robbed outside a restaurant in Mayfair on Monday all caught on cctv and as mentioned here police didn’t seem that interested as I came to no bodily harm apart from a push. Luckily they were only interested in my bag and didn’t attempt to grab my wat...

And LONDON seems to be very unsafe nowadays for wearing any luxury watch. A good friend from China got his RM stolen from his wrist after exiting a restaurant. The robbers were clearly helped and tipped from inside the restaurant as they were awaiting him...
