It's actually not very thick
I don't have the specifications but it felt only marginally thicker than the Senator Sixties. Only main difference between them would be the flat caseback on this one vs the curved sapphire on the Sixties. Trying it out for yourself would be help determine if you could like it...the size is also very proportionate and stays away from the oversized trends of today which is a good thing, IMO.

I think the lack of a date works well for this watch
