Glashütte Original

I think I get you

I couldn't really put my finger on it when I tried it on...when I saw it, I was pretty sure I could pull it off with casual wear which is the norm for me, but something about it didn't jive, and somehow the JLC UTT Moon did. It was probably the additional date dial, moon phase and the markers that were non Roman that made it work. With the Senator Automatic, something did not work and I struggled with trying to understand it. It is no secret that I'm a big fan of GO, and it's likely the same reason I find that my Senator Panorama Date doesn't always work with casual also. Strangely though, the Sixties with its more dressy first appearance is the more versatile one.

Still, I do like the look of it and the classic interpretation of the overall design, just that I probably will keep it in the safe more than on my wrist if I got it, and that's not something I would want to do. And that reliable caliber will provide years of problem free running, I'm sure.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and putting some of mine in perspective smile

Richard
