Your Perpetual is very nice, but I nevere got why putting a PC in a Pilot Watch...
I must be narrow minded.
I much prefer the simplicity of the Chronometer, which is truly linked to G.O past and DNA, as you wrote it so well.

I should have strap it on that day! A 42mm doesn't sound like it's size would be a problem in today's standard. But may be you've pin point the problem...the strap fitting mechanism...gapless with the watch but not with my wrist. What a pity if it doesn't...

It is a fantastic watch full stop. I looked at Dornbluth too but it is not in the same league at all in terms of finish. The chronometer is near perfect.
