Interesting post

I own a Navigator Perpetual. While an unusual complication for a Navigator, I think it is very well done and the nicest of the GO Navigator models. With that said, I favor deck watches and I think the GO Chronometer is an excellent example of one. I have looked at the GO several times over the past two years, but the weight and bulk of the case just doesn't work for me. This is in part due to the dressier nature of the Chronometer as well as the reduced comfort in comparison to the lighter Navigator. As such, I think the Chronometer works well for someone with a bigger wrist, maybe 7.5" and up.

In terms of the Dornblueth, it is one of my favorite brands. The 99.2 is a classic IMO and I much prefer it to the Regulator models. For me, the Dornblueth is about the charm of a having a more hand crafted watch and movement. I find the dial and hands to be especially noteworthy, while the cases are very simple with minimal detailing. While I find these models very compelling, other may find them a bit too plain or conservative. They obviously don't compare with GO in terms of movement, finishing or detailing, but they are still exceptional by my standard. I would highly recommend taking a look at one in person if you haven't already.
