Picked up the old-style Boutique Edition Octa Quantième Perpétuel 40mm with the discontinued cloverleaf dial. For whatever reason, I like these older QP dials much more than the simpler current production ones — the old ones just sing to me, with more of that classic Journe DNA, having the black polished steel inner cloverleaf bezel.
I absolutely love the watch, but I’m also really enjoying the wild custom Jean Rousseau strap it came with — woven with actual gold wire threads. A very cool detail that makes the piece even more special.

I love the wild strap. I agree on the clover leaf ring decoration. Maybe not the natural way of framing things but it gives this reference much charm. Thanks for sharing, and congrats!

This watch comes with a black strap from Factory (which was also included)
Frankly, it looks really classy with the black strap as it visually ties beautifully with the dial. The wild custom JR strap was just a nice bonus and was includee with the watch in addition to the black one.

A very special black label Octa Quantieme Perp. I also much prefer this ealier version, and came very close to getting one in Platinum. Alas, that ship has sailed for me. Cool strap too. Enjoy the beauty.

It has a bit of a steampunk vibe which is a nice change from more recent models, the strap is wild too. A great piece, congratulations!
