Like many others, I have been looking for a Daytona SS. My only chance so far is paying over retail to some online grey dealer. But a few things have stop me, one is that I have never hold one.
Yesterday, I found a two tone on a use retailer in NYC.
Tried and I was a bit dissatisfied, mainly because of the size of the dial - which I find small because I have been rocking a GMT maxi case, second reason is because I found it too light!
I was wondering... what’s your opinion of the current Daytona? - like I said I find it a bit small and light.
Second, have you ever been chasing some watch and at the end you don’t really know if you like it or is just the hype?

If you would had liked that one you would have a super value.
Your are paying half the price almost of a steel Daytona. You have a Zenith Rolex which is it self usually double a Rolex Daytona. That is one of the hidden gems. But the bottom line it has yo sing to you. Rolex Zenith Daytona 16523 ...

Just because everyone wants it,
doesn’t mean it’s for you. Everyone has a different sized wrist and different tastes. Maybe it is small on you and maybe it doesn’t rock your boat. If that’s the case, then my recommendation is that you don’t buy it. There are lots of other great rolexes ...

people choose what others choose because you are ‘satisfied’ to be part of the crowd... If you don’t like it, never buy it.  Best, Mahesh.,

Thats also my opinion . Allways like to try a watch on the wrist before i buy it .
I’m totally with the other friends on this...if you’re not enthusiastic about a watch, simply don’t buy😉
Besides that if you’re looking for a ‘popular’ Daytona, then I would definitely go for stainless steel rather than two-tone😉 Best wishes.
