Just because everyone wants it,
doesn’t mean it’s for you. Everyone has a different sized wrist and different tastes. Maybe it is small on you and maybe it doesn’t rock your boat. If that’s the case, then my recommendation is that you don’t buy it. There are lots of other great rolexes and other watches on the market. Also, 2019 is right around the corner so every brand is going to roll out with their new models. The market is becoming more and more competitive. So, I imagine you may be able to get more for your money if you wait. Moreover, the new models might drive down the price of older models. Then again, I don’t understand how pricing got so crazy in 2018 across the board for major brands. I think that because of the economy, most consumers have shifted to brands that have better resale value. Still, I can’t imagine prices staying high given the fact that tons of new watches get dumped into the pot each year. Where are all the watches going? Are they all finding homes? How many of us watch nuts are out there? Is our cult growing? Only the future will tell.
