Rolex Daytona White Gold

 





Hi Guys. I’ve been eyeing this piece for awhile now. However I’ve been told that wearing a white gold watch, or any precious metal watch requires special attention.

Can you guys provide some comments such as:
1. What are the cons of owning a gold watch? I read they can’t be repolished and that it dents easily
2. The oyster flex on this watch doesn’t fit most hands and it can’t be readjusted ?

Any other comments on this piece is greatly appreciated as I’m itchcjnf to find out more before I pull the trigger. Many thanks guys

Ask the jeweler... These are basic questions that even the less experienced sales people can answer truthfully and competently. These are also uncommonly basic questions that you can determine with some very basic knowledge and logic, so I hope you don't ... 

Considering you imply you own a Patek Aquanaut; I'm surprised #2 isn't self explanetory. The strap adjustment is similar in concept to your Aquanaut strap. [nt]

Rolex's Oysterflex can't be cut. There are various length of Oysterflex to fit you wrist as much as possible. Talk to the dealer before you buy the watch.

That's right, it's not a strap that gets cut. My mistake. Oops. I can definitely understand that if someone wasn't explained this thoroughly and had the assumption that it was supposed to be cut, that one would get confused. My mistake.
