New JLC Sports Watch 2017
I remember hearing that there was a new sports line on the way, but haven't heard anything more. Is it dead, delayed or mothballed? Maybe the new CEO has come in and cancelled it? Especially if it was going to look like the old Compressor line. I would have if I was the boss.... lol.
Anyway, based on the fact that JLC leads not copies, of course, another reinterpretation of the Royal Oak Nautilus Overseas Laureato Ingenieur or derivative fail like the Piaget Polo is not what I expect either.
However seeing the near miss that Bvlgari have produced in the shape of the design language of the Octo Finissimo, it made me ponder if JLC would ever consider moving to produce a modern man's thin integrated bracelet watch. I'm thinking sleek and flowing and low profile like the original Royal Oak or 5711 not the chubby 15300 and 15400.
Any ideas?

I know that JLC was working on something. Various ways were considered.
From the relatively affordable to something more expensive, something ala Extreme Lab 3. Now that the CEO has changed, I don't know if these projects will see the light. It is clear that JLC HAS TO offer something sporty, and my bet is that they will soon...
I would love to see something along lines of the Extreme Lab
but in a smaller size. Even 44mm would be more wearable. More affordable too if it can be done building on the technology of the present series while not devaluing the current models. That would be nice!

Well, yes, but still... A true one, something you can really use without fear... With a sporty look. And a sporty complication.

I personally really liked the compressor models, although some of the dial designs were a bit wonky (yes, that's an official design term). But it would also be good to see a new sports line introduced, with JLC starting from a blank canvas. Cheers, John

I loved the LAB II and so hope JLC deliver us an equally tempting piece for a LAB III... something unattainable that enables us to dream big it's about time JLC showed us the magic again right. Remember 2007... WOW what a year to remember.
