Royal Oak vs Laureato

 Let the debate  begin.
I did not see yet the new GP (i've got the old 8010), but as the photo shows, it's NOT definitely a clone of the famous RO (and either Nautilus, waiting for a comparative photo).
They share some element, like every sporty watch with integrated steel bracelet, but when you look at the octagonal bezel of Laureato you might be thinking to a bolt, not to the 15202.
I think ithe photo will also help  to wipe off any resemblance to Nautilus.

I see the original RO from 1972 and a watch taking a lot of "inspiration" from the success of the same.

But this is not a personal interpretation, it's something that can be analizyed and catalogued. There's so little in common with the Royal oak. Starting from the shape, RO is sharp edges and mostly brushed, few small polished faces. The laureato's bracele...

A VC Overseas is perfect for this comparison. I feel it has elements of both, or other way around (pricing aside). And it's not my personal bias, our esteemed blomman has some amazing photos that show off the similarities.

This is a great comparison - thanks for sharing. I would also be interested to know how the both feel on the wrist. As they're different sizes they seem to wear a very similar size in your pictures. Thanks.
