But as Eklektik says at this rate I will have to buy something else and JLC will miss the boat.
Dean we have different opinions on the Compressors. It certainly opened up volume in a new market space for a time.... In the end, I think the key system was somewhat flawed as even JLC admitted it was just as well sealed without it. And it just took up too much space and the watches' elegance was compromised as a result. As for the evolution towards commando/military font and navy seal marketing B.S. I despaired.
I'm not even sure I mean 'sports watch' - just what was a Royal Oak anyway, a thin steel bracelet jewellery piece for the Italian market?

I know that JLC was working on something. Various ways were considered.
From the relatively affordable to something more expensive, something ala Extreme Lab 3. Now that the CEO has changed, I don't know if these projects will see the light. It is clear that JLC HAS TO offer something sporty, and my bet is that they will soon...
I would love to see something along lines of the Extreme Lab
but in a smaller size. Even 44mm would be more wearable. More affordable too if it can be done building on the technology of the present series while not devaluing the current models. That would be nice!

I personally really liked the compressor models, although some of the dial designs were a bit wonky (yes, that's an official design term). But it would also be good to see a new sports line introduced, with JLC starting from a blank canvas. Cheers, John

I loved the LAB II and so hope JLC deliver us an equally tempting piece for a LAB III... something unattainable that enables us to dream big it's about time JLC showed us the magic again right. Remember 2007... WOW what a year to remember.
