Until a few weeks ago, I too was very much into this watch until
I tried it on and it was way too heavy for a gold watch. I have tried on a Rolex Day Date with a platinum bracelet that felt lighter! Yes the dial and the movement of the FB3 are at a different level from most watches but for me, a heavy watch is a big no no as it would interfere with my enjoyment of any timepiece.

Has anyone here owned one of these watches? Thoughts? I love the design of pretty much everything from their lineup, but this one takes the cake for me and the sizing is quite reasonable vs their larger pieces. ...

FB are awesome imho...
...I haven't seen this one in person, but I wish the hands were easier to read against the dial background.
It's not that so much as the confusion of the hands against the patterns of the dial...
...my eyes aren't what they used to be, but even with reading glasses I don't want to work too hard to read the time.

on the same occasion I also tried on De Bethune’s titanium Starry Varius and I loved it even more. Open work watches are amazing to see but I personally prefer the mechanical magic to be kept at the back of the watch. And I prefer wearability and elegance...

I would have thought the frosting makes it shimmer. So it’s similar to the matte-ish frosting Breguet does on the tradition instead of something like the super shimmery Lm101 gold style frosting?
