I liked it a lot!
I think this is more reasonably sized for an FB, understatedly styled (a plus for me), but with a lot of visual interest, and seemed like a watch that would be great in a daily rotation. In person, as you have seen, I think the legibility is quite decent, but I am between your age and mdg's so it's relative!
Everyone comes with their own criteria, but I found this to be a top-tier watch and well worth considering owning.
I would love to hear more from our owner of this watch. I have a feeling they are enjoying it a lot!

Has anyone here owned one of these watches? Thoughts? I love the design of pretty much everything from their lineup, but this one takes the cake for me and the sizing is quite reasonable vs their larger pieces. ...

FB are awesome imho...
...I haven't seen this one in person, but I wish the hands were easier to read against the dial background.
It's not that so much as the confusion of the hands against the patterns of the dial...
...my eyes aren't what they used to be, but even with reading glasses I don't want to work too hard to read the time.

How did it stack up to others in the same range you’ve experienced? IE gauthier or Greubel?
I’ve tried this one on in February 2023 and was really impressed, but
on the same occasion I also tried on De Bethune’s titanium Starry Varius and I loved it even more. Open work watches are amazing to see but I personally prefer the mechanical magic to be kept at the back of the watch. And I prefer wearability and elegance...

I would have thought the frosting makes it shimmer. So it’s similar to the matte-ish frosting Breguet does on the tradition instead of something like the super shimmery Lm101 gold style frosting?
