I feel this is a very nice release....but I feel the movement department can add just a little effort to invest in some nice angles. Sometimes I don't understand why, but I also agree with a recent article about LUC. Thanks for sharing and glad to see the... 

The movement is beautifully executed in many respects, but I can see how a few sharper angles or more architectural elements could elevate it even further. Still, for a 9-day power reserve, I think the overall execution is pretty remarkable. You mentioned...

It's on my priority list to go see this at the boutique next time I'm in NYC. It looks great in your wrist shots. And I agree, I also prefer the platinum version. Have never seriously considered buying a Chopard before they came out with this.

The textured dial on the platinum version is very interesting. It appears to give off many different colors from the different angles of the pictures. The rainbow colors look great with the white metal of the platinum case.

It plays beautifully with light, revealing subtle rainbows and shifting hues depending on the angle. The way it complements the cool tones of the platinum case is one of my favorite aspects of this version. Have you seen it in person yet, or is it still o... 

But I totally get it — Chopard really nailed it here; the pointer date is subtle enough that it complements rather than disrupts the dial’s beauty. Definitely a win for those of us who appreciate function without sacrificing aesthetics.

I agree, the blue textured dial definitely leans more contemporary, and I get how that might not spark the same emotional connection if you prefer classic looks. That’s the beauty of the L.U.C. line though — it offers a range that speaks to different tast...
