Hopefully my credibility is enough. I've also spoken with multiple other OF owners who've had similar issues. Three of whom I can recall by name right now who've told me they've had problems with theirs in person. One of whom is a famous watch industry executive of an independent brand, who mentioned this to me either in a Zoom call or in person in Dubai. Another who is one of the former managing directors of Timezone, he mentioned this to me in person in NYC. Another WatchProSite member whom I've met in person in London. Again, winding issues are not unusual on ultra thin micro rotored movements. Thin movements with micro rotors from Piaget, Patek Philippe, and Chopard often have winding problems. Maybe a lot of people just aren't moving the right way to wind this watch! And maybe you are moving the right way. And I've certainly had good weeks with my OF and bad weeks. Of course, I only remember the bad weeks since the watch stopped.

I do own 2 Finissimo and no Roma watches myself
In my very personal opinion the Finissimo is on another level compared to the Roma regarding movement, overall quality and the looks. The Roma is not a bad watch, but the Finissimo is just so much more refined in pretty much all the details.

It's a cut above the Roma versions I have seen. Even considering the higher price.
The Roma has an ordinary movement. Finissimo has a special movement.

A lot of OF owners have winding issues.
Despite having a very active day, the watch still stops at night. The BVL 138 is known to have winding issues. They recently made a new version of the caliber and it's supposedly solved.
A lot of owners here on this website also rotate through so many watches that they don't also notice problems...
So it's a very flawed statistic...

My very first EVER so-called "luxury watch" was the Bulgari Bulgari with white dial and clous de Paris dial.
I fell in love with that watch at first sight, and had to buy it. And that is the watch that started me on this incurable hobby. I kept it for 8 years. I sold it to upgrade my collection and miss it to this day. I still love that design.

as a finissimo owner I would not recommend the roma
I tried it several time in the shop. It is like a previous version of the finissimo, thicker, not so cool design and I think farily generic movement. I had to check pricing and indeed it is cheaper, but for a reason! Rather wait and get the top of the lin...

I tried on the Finissimo and luckily it fits me quite well.
There is an Octo Solo Tempo version that is 38mm. Maybe you have seen them.
Finissmo has updated movement and finishing, accounting for the price difference
I tried one on. It was too big for how flat it is (on my wrist) but supercool.
