And especially on Watchbox, a platform with the intention of selling a watch, one has to assume they will naturally never be critical of their own product in a video. It's neither the place nor the time, and the questions it raises wouldn't be able to be addressed. But I'm sure if you spoke to Tim in person and asked him to compare the two in person, he would definitely spot the details and give you a thoughtful and objective opinion. Having known Tim for many years, the gentleman is indeed knowledgeable and fair. Overall, the Bulgari movement is finished way above its pricepoint. You're basically a high horology piece (it's already high horology due to the thin-ness, and I would say the finishing is better than typical JLC, around Piaget level, and almost equivalent to lower end Audemars Piguet), so it's quite a good value overall for around 12,000 USD, relatively speaking. I'd say Bulgari's COGS (cost of goods sold) is fairly high here, and the R&D probably took a long time too, so the R&D amortization is probably quite high. Combined with the fact that ultra-thin movements always have to be assembled by hand, and take a lot of time for adjustment, it's definitely a well priced watch.
