Just got a black worldtimer
I agree the Octo Roma is pretty compelling. Compared to other Swiss offerings, it's "good value" and "budget friendly". The shape is pretty uniquely angular and sporty, and the greater thickness than the Finissimo brings out the numerous facets, as well as lending some nice weight. I just got my sand blasted DLC Octo Roma Worldtimer and I just think it looks understated but still cool and unique. The time zone ring has a satisfyingly slick operation, better compared to the JLC and LUC I tried.

Forgot to mention, the 38mm GP Laureato also was on the list.
But theyy are not available here, and imported from overseas is nightmare with customs and tax; it just not worth it. Not to mention the service and repair problems because there is no GP dealer or service here.

Could not agree more. To be honest, the design not so bad IMHO, if they release it with quick release system, extra strap, and priced between 8K to 9K, i may buy it.
Meanwhile.....this beauty has not lost its charm ...

I have ordered a leather strap also. So i will have 3 different looks : sporty with rubber, elegant with leather, and luxury with bracelet.

Yes, the worldtimer especially the black DLC had my name on it few months ago.
But when i heard about the new Octo Roma 3 hander, i changed my mind. The black worldtimer is fabulous, but i rarely travel now, and i need some bling from an sporty watch with bracelet Please post some pictures because we don"t see many worldtimer around...
