Congratulations to you for procuring this very special and most exclusive version of the Octo Finissimo! I haven't bought any of the gold models yet (so far all of mine have been steel and titanium) but wow, what a nice watch!

Very different feeling with the full gold one. It is still very slim and I like that it has the 100Mt WR

I wished the gold ones were even heavier! Especially when compared to the steel version, the gold version is not that much heavier than the steel version since they hollow out the links in the gold bracelet but not in the steel bracelet.

It sits and looks amazing ...  

beside the look is the heavier weight. I always found the titanium version very comfortable but almost too light !

They US yellow gold is nice as well, but this one is just my favourite at the moment!

You know, there's a hotel in FIRENZE for watch and clock lovers? It's called Hotel L'Orlogio! I didn't stay there, but I will consider staying there in the future!

The guy obviously can't do math. I saw the first few minutes of the YouTube video. 2000 watches. 1 billion Euros. That means that each watch ON AVERAGE has to be 500,000 Euros. Sorry, but that's just not the case. That's decades years of production AT CUR... 

I don't like any of his watches..all old and rusty !! 😂

If you go to a Ralph Lauren store in SOHO, New York City, you'll see these old and rusty things all being sold at a premium!

Ever since I saw this released I've thought this and the skeleton version are my two favorites. Looks fantastic.

That is one beautiful and extremely elegant watch you have there! Sporty and sophisticated. Bvlgari got the colour combination on this one just right. They also did a limited edition yellow gold version for the US market, but, curiously, with the same met... 

I think it must be very nice too but the rose gold should be a better fit with brown. I saw some photos of the sandblasted one and didn't seem to age very well. I really love the WR because I hate the limitations. I want to wear it at the pool, anywhere !... 

I've seen some people with the sandblasted titanium watch who are rough on their watches and the watch looks pretty good. Titanium can't really be polished in the traditional way, so if you really do get a big scratch, it's not easily polished away. And t... 

Hi Patrick, yes, you're absolutely correct, the sandblasted titanium hides scratches very well. I have a sketch dial OF chronograph and after regular wear, I still can't see a single scuff or swirl on it (hope I didn't now jinx it!). Kind regards kkwn98

Titanium is actually harder and more scratch resistant than steel. The sandblasted finish also hides scratches better than a polished finish would. But if you get big damage, then this is a big problem, as you can't polish titanium easily. Then, after pol...

I’m an OF fan for sure, and maybe to the contrary I loved the sandblasted gold OF even if it would not be something I could see myself wearing. Enjoy this one.

The phillips (even if is not so old, was released in December last year) has the older version ...  

My new Steel Sejima has the new movement. My titanium version has the old movement. But I will never wear the Sejima outside of formal evenings, so it's unlikely that it'll make a big difference to me.

But the all polished look just doesn't look right in certain settings. It's too shiny, and almost a generic kind of shiny. Hard to describe. The watch looks terrible outdoors during the day. It looks good indoors at night or outdoors at night. This is a w...

I've noticed for a while now that some of the publicity shots of the gold OFs show the underside of the bracelet to be solid, while it is, in fact, hollowed out. You will see this from the two pictures above. I've always wondered why they do this, as it's... 

Rolex used to do this for years until right around 20 years ago they went to a more solid construction. Many brands, including top tier brands, still do hollow construction even today. But, yes, Bulgari is a little unusual that they illustrate this so cle...

On the USA website we don't have the 3D view. But upon closely looking at one of the photos, I do see the links completely filled in! Perhaps the photographs were done off prototypes which weren't reflective actual customer watches that were sold. Either ... 

I didn't pay attention but indeed the marketing photo shows the first links without the hollow 😅 This made me now curious and I went to the Bulgari site to check the 360 degrees rendering.. see attached photos.. Pretty interesting no ? ...

probably the prototype had full links (I think I spotted one behind the glass in instagram but hard to know). The official bulgari 3D photos could be misleading but I think it was based on a computer rendering not the real watch. As a positive spin I thin...

here in Switzerland ..a rare bird indeed. But now that I heard more about the difference in the movement I am glad I got the newest version. I can only imagine how annoying it is to have a watch stopping regularly..

The Finissimo will be my pick if only they made also the slightly smaller size, i.e. 37-38 mm. Big congrats .
