What a flirt!

The 3880 has always been on my radar for many years . Somehow I never pulled the trigger for one reason or another.

Chanced upon the first edition in decent conditions recently and decided to act quickly. The gold cap crown, unidirectional bezel movement, 200m WR are the key differences between the first and subsequent editions. Some first edition came with a straight chrono second hand instead of a lollipop hand too.

This is a 30 years old granny but she is still so flirty! So glad that I held back previously and landed this. Love is found, finally 🀣

A very nice specimen, and in excellent condition. The Type XX from the 50s is a constant temptation for me.

I felt just the same when I pulled that same trigger about 4 years ago, and I have not regretted it for a single moment! Interesting, by the way, that we ended up with the exact same model. Gold cap crown, 200m WR, unidirectional bezel, uncrossed 't' in '...

Looks alright on mine

But it’s slower by 20s. Got to baby it and send for servicing at some point ...
