Yes the US NAVY is a very nice watch, I still have mine which has a very nice patina.
For your information, my watch has been mass spectrometer tested. The case, bezel and the back ring are made of a bronze alloy (bronze is an alloy of copper and other metals, mainly zinc, nickel, tin) and surprise, the back is made of titanium...I think it is to eliminate any magnetic effect that this assembly was used, but bronze and sea water are not compatible. The idea was quickly abandoned. The movement used for this case is a derivative of the AS 1361 but in a *stop second* version.
