Discovered a blemish...do something or leave it?
Today I discovered a blemish on the marker at 9 o'clock on the dial of my Bathyscaphe. I detected it with my eyes (no photography), when messing around with the light to make the dial pop. The question is whether to send it in. It's noticeable on-wrist as long as you know where to look. I got this watch recently, so it is still under warranty. Counterpoint: it's under warranty and runs exceptionally. I don't want to send it off to Switzerland just to have someone take some dust off with a bit of Rodico. That said, based on the light, I don't know if it's dust or an actual dent in the marker. I speculate dust. I'd hate to wait for a long time and run through a lot of the warranty just to have someone deal with this. However, I'm the kind of person this issue will bother a lot. Whether or not I see it daily, it's still there in a watch that costs what this does and has really good QC (though I suppose this got past that), so I'm going to be bugged about it.
I'm not keen on getting it in to a service center (Toronto would be mine) because they've been highly difficult and incompetent in the past with other Swatch products. I've heard they don't even deal with Blancpain and instead just forward things to the Swiss when it comes to Blancpain/Breguet/JD/etc.
The question is whether or not to send it in. I'd
like to hear your opinions so I can have a broader range of information
to appeal to in making my decision.
I have taken photos for your viewing convenience.

You can see it just on the inside edge of the top half of the marker, where it is reflecting the most light. You'll see a small speck of black on there that's preventing a reflection.

Zoomed out.
