The car was launched in 1999. This is the facelift of the first gen car which came somewhere around 2004. The facelift launched with the 3.2-liter V6. The original car came out with 2 versions of a 4-cylinder: 180 and 225 hp quattro. The 225-hp, quattro with manual transmission was a lot of fun!

I've never driven one. But I agree. It's an iconic design. And it's aged well over the years too. I wonder how well it drives.

the first care I fell in love with
I was fresh out of college and fell in love with the TT design. I loved that car so much, but ultimately had to wait some 10 years before getting my first Audi. I still drive it, a 2012 A5, but always will remember my first love!

… MT or R-tronic. V8 or V10? Unfortunately where I live there are no manuals at all. People don’t buy them and manufacturers only bring them in on special indent.
yes, I preferred the slimmer scoops at that time to the V10 version

I prefer the thin scoops too and prefer the first gen shape. The newer shapes have too many angles, so went back to the classic.
