I also recently read that a lot of them are putting the brakes on regarding electric vehicles due to several issues.
Some being, slow sales, an infrastucture that is not ready for electic cars, range and cold weather issues
among others.
You think Westworld is that far away?? Honestly, I sometimes wonder how ubiquitous self-driving cars will be by the grandkids’ times.🤔
When I read articles about autonomous cars being tested to parts of Cali, NY, etc. it does worry for a variety of reasons. But I know there are business forces at play that can’t be stopped.
Battery power has a set of problems . . .
. . . that will become more apparent as years go by. Over the long run electrics are just as costly as IC, and not much cleaner. The financial underpinnings just aren't there for electrics once government subsidies dissipate.

It is incredible this hype and fashion for electrical cars, new foolishness to answer a far more complex problem.

Around 100‘000€ 1200kg 2 Batteries in the middle is the driver (at a low position - feets are slightly elevated above the battery) They really want to keep the 7 driving experience. They also refer to the Alpine A110 - despite being an EV! Interesting! 👍🏻...
