When I read articles about autonomous cars being tested to parts of Cali, NY, etc. it does worry for a variety of reasons. But I know there are business forces at play that can’t be stopped.
Battery power has a set of problems . . .
. . . that will become more apparent as years go by. Over the long run electrics are just as costly as IC, and not much cleaner. The financial underpinnings just aren't there for electrics once government subsidies dissipate.

I also recently read that a lot of them are putting the brakes on regarding electric vehicles due to several issues. Some being, slow sales, an infrastucture that is not ready for electic cars, range and cold weather issues among others.
Indeed, would be better with a good V6.
It is incredible this hype and fashion for electrical cars, new foolishness to answer a far more complex problem.
