"Two options"
Hi, Fricks,
"I don't get your 2 options"
1. avoid the situation in the first place
could he have gone in slower?
taken a different line?
not shifted?
2. to avoid the result if the entry was the same?
if he took the same line in, and ran off like he did, what could he have done to save the oversteer?
=============
"And he went in too early, a little."
At first I thought he turned in too early too, for an early apex, but watching it again, I'm not so sure about that.
"The rule in porsche is, come in slower, get out faster. You gotta use the breaks at the entrance to transfer the weight to the front to get better grip."
Yes, generally held wisdom about rear engined layouts.
"...high in revs gives you better traction and grip even if the curve is not very strong."
I think I understand your meaning but would appreciate a little more clarification. high revs has its benefits but also carry with it dangers in a turn...
" It was a light right/left.
I have a gut feeling that he felt he was too fast and reflex made him go in too early,... the driver got deported, then tried to break, typical mistake, he went straight."
I came to similar conclusions, wanted to see what others with track experience might see that might be different.
Thanks for your POV!
