I m beginning to think so too and it ain't looking pretty. Watch is just a watch- there are tons of ugly watches out there from top 10 brands. It now seems ppl are more upset about...
...inclusivity. there is a whole lineup of gud old stodgy luking classy watches that AP still produces but the emotional outpour only comes for these 250. I wonder if Superman or Ironman on dial wud create the same stir.
Whilst its as far as possible from being a watch Iād acquire, when you hold it in the flesh thereās something to it. Looking through a loupe into the eyes of the panther is quite something. Concept at 42mm is another plus in my books.
I've brought this up before. But he wears so many different AP models (and he does it well, just like the one above) but they don't do anything else with him in regards to marketing, new signature watch, ... all that. 1 signature model a decade or so ago....
...whole another class of classy ppl who don't fit into the old mold. Watch may not appeal to old molded class but it certainly delivers a powerful message of inclusion to different but real breed of collectors.
But I don't need a watch brand to "educate" me about the usual "core values" or anything else. I'm old and happy enough that this just doesn't cut it with me. Read their press release and you'll see exactly what they mean -- there's political correctness ...
Iāve said already, AP supporting improvement, through charities, in the lives of underprivileged youth makes me more proud to own one. Remember, faith based groups often do similar work. To admire the difference they can make doesnāt necessitate an adhere...
I have to agree with FabR. Audemars has in 1992 created the Royal Oak foundation wristwatch, which featured the image of a tree on the dial to support its charity of saving the planet and through preservation of forests. This I found tasteful and beautifu...
This entire Marvel affair has been way over scrutinized. I'm not scouring the minutiae as so many and reading into everything so much. AP make incredible watches and have the most solid design platform in the business. That's what I enjoy and chose to foc...
As far as this watch is concerned i have a differing opinion. Itās not just this one watch that we are discussing but more so the direction AP is taking, the road itās heading down so to speak. As far as environmental causes being political, sure they can...
First to create an expensive steel super luxury watch , been the first to use cutting edge materials in their case making and first to engage sports personalities as ambassadors and issuing limited editions in conjunction . Ap marvel was a daring move and...
It has upset some watch people because a beloved line has been used as a canvass to produce something altogether different. I find this rather odd. It doesn't change the Royal Oaks the same people like and even cherish. It's just another iteration. That's...

In pure business terms its a Disney product now. The main purpose of Marvel movies is to communicate how great the US military and intelligence agencies are, with some crash-bang-wallop thrown in for a treat. It's not nearly as sharp-edged as the comics w...
I have tried the watch last week in AP flagship store in Geneva and loved it š„° Gentlemen, this is just a comic watch ! Relax š So many more serious things happening in the world today...
In this world of Royal Oaks, Nautiluses, Daytonas, and RM11ās where everybody literally has some variant of the same watch, itās nice to see some differentiation these days. Certainly not loved by everybody, but the more I see it, the more I get it. Subje...
