I hope you get some responses and advice
...on hunting the 5402. There have been some threads here in the past related to such searches for this iconic watch, so perhaps do a search here and on the sister Network54 site.
I don't blame you for being cautious about hunting a 5402. I have held off myself because it is a minefield and it will be challening to find a near perfect and all-original example accompanied by full provenance. But most collectors are transfixed by the logo above the 6 o'clock. For now, enjoy the stealthy nature of the 15002. ;-)
And you and I both need to get over the idea of keeping our 15002s in mint condition. That is one of the reasons I thought about getting a 15202 or even a 15300. Each of these watches is meant to be worn, however, right? I am wearing mine today, in fact.
