Audemars Piguet

A-Serie

ok - some words to my two exemplares. Both A-Serie. History is a little bit different:

The one on the left site: Number between 1500 and 1600. Revision by AP ca. 2005 (I don´t know exactly at the moment). The hands and the crown  (now with AP-Logo) had been changed by AP. The clasp is signed with AP.

The one on the right site: Number between 600 and 700. Original smaller hands and crown without AP-Logo. Clasp signed with "Audemars Piguet" and clasp inside Guy freres GF. This one had a revision this year (private by an old clockmaker).

AP Revision of course is mutch better - also more expensive - but date changes at exact 12.00 ... . The other one a few minutes bevor and the material from the indices is a little bit tarnished. Luminous material a little bit brashly - but hands original small. They got no one left by AP.

Both authentic and runnig without problems.

An interesting detail is that the later one has "folded endlinks". I had contact to other RO-owners and we think that AP tried something in a special periode to change on the bracelet. I had a look at photos in the internet and find some exemplares. Look at the 2 photos from my watch. There you can see wat I meen and on the second photo that the item "folded" perhabs is a little bit wrong.

Have a nice day
