For as much as we all are concerned with this topic, shouldn't we be able to believe we can walk into a reputable dealer and only handle authentic watches? Reselling is a massive business, but there are certainly companies that do it the right way and only handle authentic pieces. I cannot make any guesses about this dealer - I do not know them at all. I can only say if I were the client here, I would surely approach the subject with the owner in hopes of finding a reasonable solution.
Is anyone able to provide me detailed information of this watch?
I bought this watch in a Hong Kong AD shop in 2003, but since then I never saw this version again, not even on the internet. It\'s not the normal version of dual time... Does anyone happen to know about this watch? ...

Even if the rest of the watch is genuine, I honestly believe that dial is 3rd party.

I disagree about the dial, based on the tapisserie, but would be happy for my suspicions to be proven wrong.
I hope for the OP’s sake that it is as you say, and the lack of photos online is nothing more than a sign of its rarity.

I got it from a very large group store here, so it would not be fake by any means. I asked many local watch shops here, but none of them had seen this one before. So it would be interesting to find out more about it...

Interestingly that site/dealer was the only one with the model number – you could contribute to the Royal Oak Club’s archive with a photo of it.

I remember seeing one with Tantalum and Rosegold, really striking piece. this era from Audemars Piguet amongst others (the 1950s produced very beautiful and elegant pieces) produced very interesting creations, AP was not as well known as today and product...
Regarding RO models, 36mm is a good size for me up to 39mm (my ROO Triple Date)

Even if this is a fake sold through King Fook I am sure that Ray must have paid for it by credit card in that case the money goes to the company .... even in case he paid by cash I am sure Ray took an invoice so that's proof enough of taking legal action ...

AD usually lure customer by offering 10% discount or give out straps. But they never have the limited edition pieces immediately after release. Buying from AP-HK also build up a good customer relationship, to me that's far more important than getting disc...

I am on a driving vacation and so did not come here the past two days. Regarding King Fook, it is a very big group, and it is hard to believe that it sells or sold fake watches. If so, then it is a very big issue. I will find it out when I am back in town...
I have asked AP in Hong Kong. They do have this reference and this watch. They even e-mailed me the picture of the exact same watch (at least the same dial and look).

In fairness to my contact at AP, looking at these pictures is not the same as handling the watch.
In the reply to me, the big concern was dial. It looks quite rough. Who can really tell without physically examining it? Please keep us posted!
I have a new message confirming this dial style was made by AP.
I sent a link to this thread, and in some of the photos it is very difficult to tell. That was the reason for concern. I compared your reference number, and it is correct for the dial.
