Calatravas don't sell that good indeed, but the PP is the biggest GC seller with 5000 p.a.

Their biggest seller was the Twenty-4-Collection with >25000 p.a. And if you compare the social media and internet presence of both brands you can see that AP is most likely Royal Oak and you rarely see anything else, while Patek has ofc a lot of Nautilus and Aquanaut but still a very decent amount of Complications and Grande Complications.
I think the new Code Fiftysix *cough cough* excuse me... I mean Code 11.59 collection will be hard seller, unless the showed perpetual calendar is real which could be a burner. The case itself is absolutely fantastic, but the dial is such pale and could be from any kickstarter brand.

not try to reinvent the wheel like some start up company design like those leaked images!
I wonder how well that would sell?

AP has continually had dress watches in their line, if you look in their catalogues you'll see them. They obviously don't sell, does any purist even one? I've heard PP's base level calatravas aren't their hot sellers, either, although perhaps moreso than ...
There has been so much

coverage on their complicated vintage pieces. Surely some dressy lineage towards those references would sell just as Patek does with theirs🤷🏿♂️
Ouch! I agree 100%

I certainly hope those images are a ruse. Best, NickO

Looks quite interesting from what I can currently see on the site. Obviously a sports watch given the celebrities they are using in the promo, as well as the dial design. Looking forward to the full reveal.

ROUND SHAPE yes moving away from the RO shape New base calibre that will have add on such as calendars etc Mostly made by Renaud & Papi for AP I suspect it will be on the lines of the round Richard Mille A hybrid between sports and dress watch designs
