AP “Remaster01” model
Oct 23, 2020,06:22 AM
This could mark the start of a new collection A 40mm automatic chronograph in steel and pink gold. With in house movement. A limited edition of 500 pieces On the wrist, it manages to look retro and modern at the same time, a beauty.
Seems to be a part of AP s longstanding efforts to diversify from the Royal Oak

Such a lazy and disappointing effort for a company that produced some of the most beautiful early 20th century chronographs. I guess padding up the margins trumps all. And then you have the typical arrogance of modern AP - "we didn't want a replica of a h...
i have tried it and....

....the proportions of the watch are very nice despite of its thickness. i actually like it, even the automatic movement is fine with me. it is just too expensive IMHO.
Vertical clutch

The new AP Cal 4400 features vertical clutch switching. Vertical clutch movements, as a very general rule, don't benefit as much from removal of the rotor as horizontal clutch movements. In terms of thinness too, Bulgari has this covered with the record-s...

i had a chance to buy it but decided not to, exactly because of that fact.
