It was a lively discussion of the [Re]master01 in a recent fantastic post by quattro_spirit.

A couple of points which I agreed - it is a few mm too thick and a manual movement would have been near perfect.

Otherwise, can't fault this [Re]master based closely on the 1533 (which AP says is not a re-issue) with a nice vintage vibe.

At 40mm with the teardrop lugs, it fits pretty well on an average wrist.

The brushed dial is amazing but legibility is bit affected by the gold hands on the gold toned dial under certain lighting conditions.

Give and take, a pleasant offering from AP.

It has a really amazing dial. I think if this was slightly thinner and had a cooler rotor I would have joined in the fun! Thanks so much for sharing Peter

Always this model are hate or love same as Remaster 02. I love the dial and fonts of this one. First time I see it in fresh metal, a bit annoying but after certain period it becomes one of my favorites. Give them a chance, it’s really great
