It was audacious to release this as a two tone case

 

But the historical link makes sense. I like also the small logo.
It is a shame though that they did not release a manual wound movement, it would have been more in line with the spirit of the watch.

Sometimes I wonder how the product managers fail to see the big picture just to follow commercial leads.
It is like releasing a modern sportscar, strongly inspired by past models with an auto gearbox because "these sell more"
