- the malteser cross is made redundant by the new, more powerful mainspring with better linearity (!) as well.
- the second purpose of being a safety gear against overwinding still remains as an issue though, hence the power indicator?

My view on the novelties is that they are ALL EXCELLENT.
I love each of the new watches released this year, as much as i love the previous ones, and can see no reason to complain. Lange is still the finest brand in the world.
