Walter probably kept the schematics, but they still might not exist today.
Again, I'm definitely not making excuses for Lange. They could've done better.

It is not unreasonable for customers to expect that any model that has been manufactured since the inception of the company can be serviced as long as the watch is authentic.

Unfortunate my first post had to be of this nature but..
As a passionate Lange collector I was very disappointed and taken aback by the apparent attitude and how things were handled. I haven't had any communication with them since a phone call from the boutique following the email.
BTW, have you reached out to Alkis here in NYC.........
He is the official servicer of Lange watches in the US. I would be surprised if he couldn't service those watches assuming no parts are missing and the watches are in working order currently. Tony
Alkis is an Official Lange Servicer but that may be limited to modern Langes...
But I'm not sure he's an Official Lange Restorer. So he may be able to service the watches and give them what they need. But he may not be able to restore them in an official capacity.
