Pets are wonderful. Losing them is very difficult.

This is the hardest part of being a guardian to a dog the fact that they are with us for such a relatively short time I must say though making it to 14 years is quite remarkable in itself for a large breed dog. Was he a Dogo Argentino? as its hard to tell...

We too have just lost a 14 year old dog - black labradour called Mouse (Bred as a gundog, he was originally called Grouse. but our then 3 year old grandson changed it to Mouse). He had been with us since he was 4 months old, and shared our home with 7 oth... 

I never thought that the loss of a dog can affect me so much . I found Neo in a public trash can on my way home from work when he was less than two months old. He changed my life completely . He was my running mate , my companion on those sad days , and h...

I know exactly how that pain feels. When I was confronted with some bad luck in my life, our dog was such a supporter, loyal, no questions asked etc. Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to him as well ...

After more than a year since my Chagall died, and despite the joy I have with my young Collie Rasputin, I still have to fight back tears whenever I think of Chagall. He was more than thirteen years old, when I had to let him go, and was a part of myself. ...

He left a large whole in your heart. I have 2 smaller doggies and they are a real part of our family. I can't even contemplate their end. May he rest in peace and may you cherish his fond memories.

Dogs offer unconditional loyalty and love, and in doing so, ironically help us find our humanity. RIP Neo.
