Hello dear friends,

Queen Elizabeth II, has died at Balmoral aged 96, after reigning for 70 years. Her loss will be deeply felt throughout the country, the  Commonwealth, and by countless people around the world.

As a mark of our respect our theme for WristScan this weekend will not take place. If you would like to post a photo and a respectful comment please feel free to post under this thread.

For anyone under 70 she has been the only monarch in Britain they have ever known that is a lifetime.

My kids were just reading/learning about her this summer as part of a series of world leaders. Her life prompted a lot of good discussion, so it’s difficult to learn of her passing.
