Senna was not a very clean pilot (he won a championship by intentionally hitting Prost on a race) and he was somehow a suicidal type.
He is idolized here in Brasil because we don't have many heroes at that time and our main TV network promoted him in order to increase audience.
Jim Clark, on other hand, was a true sportsman and he could win on F1, F2 and in ovals like Indianapolis.
