this new aquisition is an Enicar Sherpa Super-Dive super compressor from 1964. i've only worn it for 2 days, but it is very very nice. its the full size 40mm case and with the bracelet it suits my wrist perfectly. its also remarkably accurate. i've tried ...

Big fan of Enicars, great history, inhouse movements, great styling. It's interesting to note that in the 1958 Experimental diving report, that alongside the Blancpain and Rolex, Enicar was also tested. So it was seen as a serious tool watch back then. Re... 

they have a lot of history in the diving world with the bonus of in house movements. and yes, it is an original Enicar bracelet although i'm not sure it was made for this watch. best Graham

I've been keeping an eye on them for several years now and I can say that by the prices they realise the collectors in the know value them.

i'm hoping that most of my 1964 theme are collectors watches. speedies, sm300's, connies, UG polerouter single crown super compressor, Benrus military pilots, even a gold cased Smiths Everest(classic british engineering). i plan very soon to do another up... 

I am destined not to find a '64 that tells the time, so I am pleased that one of us has! Nice diver. Andrew

I saw both the R/G as well as the Platinum this week while I was at an evening event, being held by my AD. And I have to say, that I very much prefer the R/G over the Platinum, fot it's much better contrast of colours.

It is known as a Lordmatic.(seiko ref 5606) Auto day date from the 1970's Very wearable. Other pieces in the safe were Oris, Lanco and a few brands I had never heard of Julian

I look forward to seeing more shots of this one. I find it a striking modern dial with great use of silver and grey tones. People I have asked seem polarised about this Patek. It seems to be either love or dislike. That's good; I don't like bland watches....
